Music is Life DJs offers a musical selection of every genre that appeals to all ages. Our music coverage spans from Big Band in the 1930’s up to and including today’s current top dance hits.

We utilize state of the art professional equipment such as JBL, Crown, Pioneer, Sennheiser & Tascam, providing outstanding dependability and sound quality.
We play music for all occasions: Sweet 16’s, Weddings, Corporate/Holiday events, Summer Barbecues and Birthday parties just to mention a few. Our coverage extends into parts of NY, NJ and CT.

About the DJ
Growing up in Bronx projects as a youth I witnessed the start of music mixing. As a fan I attended many block parties and DJ jams in parks and outdoor basketball courts.

As my interest in music mixing grew, I decided to purchase two basic turntables and a mixer. I taught myself to mix music by listening to established DJ’s and the radio while developing and adding to my own creativity. At first I played music for myself and that grew into being a DJ at house parties. Afterwards I spent six years working with a DJ company named RJS Studios. There I sharpened my skills in party planning and music mixing.

RJS Studios closed after 22 years of business and today I own and operate Music is Life DJs. Originally I mixed with turntables but currently I utilize digital turntables. This digital technology allows me greater flexibility in being creative and to prepare with ease and speed that turntables do not allow. Our dependability, sound quality and attention to details will match your wishes and expectations.
